Neighborhood Association Grant Application
Live6 Alliance is proud to launch the 2026 Neighborhood Association Grant in partnership with The Kresge Foundation, providing direct financial support to resident-led organizations working within and adjacent to our service area. With awards ranging from $1,000–$5,000, this funding opportunity is designed to strengthen established neighborhood associations that are actively organizing, building leadership, and advancing community-driven priorities. This initiative marks an important step in deepening local investment and expanding opportunities for grassroots groups to lead impactful work in their neighborhoods
Eligible associations must be non-profit, resident-led organizations that have been in operation for at least two years, are registered with the City of Detroit’s Department of Neighborhoods as a Neighborhood Association, and operate within Live6’s service boundaries (8 Mile to the north, Lodge to the south, Hamilton to the east, and Wyoming to the west). Applications are due Friday, March 6, 2026, and the process is intentionally simple—taking no more than ten minutes to complete. Funding will be distributed in two installments (April and October 2026), with priority given to active associations that demonstrate a clear commitment to inclusive, community-centered service, collaboration and action.
