Calling all artists, local farmers, chefs and crafters, the MarketOnTheAVE offers vendors an affordable, marketplace to build your local following and connect with a community of entrepreneurs.  You may choose to participate as a drop-in vendor, or sign up for the entire season.

Produce vendors pay $15/day for one space, all others $25/day. This is a convenient option for vendors who would like to try out the market and test their product.

If you’re interested in participating in one day or the entire season, this is a deal for you.

Are you interested? First....

  1. Read the Vendor Guidelines
  2. Complete the  Application Form
  3. You will be notified one week prior to the market date if you are selected to participate. Due to limited space, we anticipate that not all applicants will be able to participate.

Better Block event

Better Block Foundation is a nonprofit that educates, equips, and empowers communities and their leaders to reshape and reactivate built environments to promote the growth of healthy and vibrant neighborhoods.

For Better Block Detroit, we’re teaming up with the Better Block Foundation, the City of Detroit, University Commons, and Detroit Collaborative Design Center to re-envision a more walkable and vibrant Livernois.

Better Block is a streetscape installation that will occur as a component of the Jazz on the Ave celebration on August 6. From design to build, this process relies on the participation of the community! What would you like to see happen on the Ave? Would you like to help build the installation? Let us know here.
